• Removed the existing drop-in acrylic shower unit down to the studs • Plumber replaced the shower mixing valve and added a dedicated maintenance shut-off valve for easier future service • Installed USG Durock cement backer board to prepare the shower walls and floor for tile • Fully tiled the shower walls in large-format marble-look porcelain tile • Installed a matching hexagon mosaic tile shower floor and bathroom floor • Installed a Kohler trim package, including a rain shower head, handheld sprayer, and matte black valve trim • Extended matching tile out onto the surrounding bathroom floor for a seamless, cohesive look
